Thank you for your interest in my blog! My name is Brenda Padilla. I am an elearning researcher, passionate about education, online interactions and learning technologies. My background is in Psychology (UDEM, Mexico). I also have a Master’s degree in Cognition and Education (UANL, Mexico) and a PhD in elearning and learning technologies (University of Leicester, UK).

I have worked with companies and academic institutions interested in improving their learning practices through the use of technology. I share my research through different means, such as a papers in scientific journals, workshops and conferences. I am currently a post-doc researcher at the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (UANL) in Mexico, working on a project to design, create, implement and evaluate a study skills MOOC. Occasionally, I participate in European projects. I was part of SPEED (Sharing Practice for Embedding E-design and Delivery), POERUP (Policies for OER Uptake), EMMA (European Multiple MOOC Aggregator), etc. I work as a freelance consultant all around the world. I was also part of FUTURA (Future of University Teaching: Update and Roadmap for Advancement).
